We are delighted to announce that a display of Pelham Puppets on loan from the museum has been installed in a refurbished telephone box in the heart of Sidmouth.
The installation has been made by the Sidmouth School of Art working with the Sidmouth Town Council who own the telephone box.
We are delighted to announce that the former exhibition layout depicting Sidmouth station has gone on static display in the museum. Built by Richard Harper the layout represents the former London & South Western Railway terminus as it appeared in the early 1960s. (February 2023)
Free entry to the museum on Friday 2nd December 2022 generated a huge interest with hundreds of visitors to the museum. It was a great opportunity to showcase the lighting effects in the museum.
We have launched an annual Friend of the Museum scheme. For full details of the scheme please click on the Friends of the Museum page.
Annual membership for a relative or friend is a great Christmas Present! Also, if you have an EX10 postcode, 10% can be deducted from the annual fee.
New signage has been installed at the museum site providing enhanced visibility. The signs were installed by Sign Vision of Sidmouth who have done a great job!
The museum will be open for late night shopping/lights switch-on. 16.00 - 20.00. FREE ENTRY
